Hyundai has officially revealed its latest addition to the lineup, the all-new Santa Fe midsize SUV, just days before its anticipated launch next week.

This marks a significant milestone as the fifth-generation Santa Fe receives a comprehensive overhaul, the first of its kind in the past five years.

Having made its debut back in 2000, the Santa Fe has continually solidified its position as one of the most sought-after SUV brands in the market, boasting an impressive sales figure of 1.38 million units to date.

The forthcoming SUV release will be available in two distinct variations: a 2.5-liter turbo gasoline model and an innovative 1.6-liter turbo hybrid model.

Particularly noteworthy, the hybrid variant holds strategic importance, representing Hyundai's inaugural venture into equipping their vehicles with a proprietary battery design. More information regarding the hybrid model's fuel efficiency is expected to be disclosed later this month, pending the completion of the mileage certification process.

Beyond powertrain enhancements, the new Santa Fe exhibits a striking and radical design transformation. The front and rear H-shaped lamps, reminiscent of Hyundai's emblem, along with its robust and boxy silhouette, contribute to a commanding visual presence.

In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,840 mm in length and features a 2,815 mm wheelbase, presenting an increase of 45 mm in length and 50 mm in width compared to its predecessor.

Emphasizing its role as a family-oriented vehicle, the all-new Santa Fe boasts a range of improved convenience and safety features. Notably, the airbag system has been upgraded from seven to a total of ten, incorporating enhancements such as a knee airbag for the driver's side and side airbags for the second row.

With the unveiling of this fifth-generation Santa Fe, Hyundai demonstrates its dedication to innovation, design excellence, and a continued commitment to meeting the needs of today's drivers.
